Changes made to the latest versions of the browsers by both Netscape and Microsoft made it necessary for us to make changes to the Camera pages to accommodate  as many different browser versions as possible.  With the older browsers (Netscape 2.0 and Internet Explorer 2.0) the refresh feature worked with the default settings (those setting that are established when the software is installed).  Later versions of the browser may require some adjustments.  The information on this page will assist you in properly configuring your browser for automatic refresh of the traffic cameras.

Internet Explorer 4.0x  These browsers seem to work correctly without modifying any settings.

Netscape Communicator 4.5 (and newer) In order for the automatic refresh feature to work properly, you should make sure that you have checked Every time under "Document in cache is compared to document on network:" on the Edit/Preferences/Advanced/Cache menu. Please Note:  We have been unable to find a setting that will allow Netscape Communicator 4.01 thru 4.05 to refresh the cameras automatically.  If you wish this feature to work you should upgrade to Communicator 4.5 For additional details:  please see this Netscape Technical Support Article.

Internet Explorer 3.0x (and newer) In order for the automatic refresh feature to work properly, you should make sure that you have checked Every visit to the page under "Check for newer versions of stored pages:" on the Vies/Options/Advanced/Settings menu.
